what we do
2.  Learning and Development

Whether you are meeting the needs of individuals or groups with the same needs, we can design events and programmes that effectively mix a range of approaches to deliver results.

Having designed literally hundreds of different programmes, we know that the closer the link to the work of individuals, the better the results.

We offer pragmatic solutions that are based around what happens at work, and programmes may include a mix of:

  • work-based learning
  • coaching
  • study for professional examinations
  • skills workshops
Methodology for design and delivery of learning events
Our methodology for achieving success is a simple four-stage approach:

Stage One - Determining the needs
Training that is not relevant to learning needs is a waste of time and money.  We believe the way to get return on investment is to accurately assess individual training needs before designing the content and delivering the training.  This ensures the content and level is appropriate to the job role and the depth of experience of the individual, and enables the trainer to accommodate individual learning styles.

Stage Two - Designing the content
You have as much input into designing the content as required.  We can provide a template for you to develop your own ideas, or if you prefer, we can develop a number of options for you to approve.  We can also manage larger groups of stakeholders, who need facilitating to agree a common approach.

Stage Three - Delivering the solution
Our approach facilitates learners to interact, using methods that check understanding, encourage participation and accommodate different learning styles.  Training material is structured to maximise learning, and we have the experience to know what will work well through courses, work based tasks programmes delivered in bite sized chunks, small groups and one-to-one sessions

Stage Four - Evaluating the results
Ensuring the investment you make in Training and Development delivers real benefit to your business has to be the first priority.  We believe that successful programmes of learning are about creating business solutions that deliver strategy and provide a good return on investment.  The starting point is measuring where you are now, and identifying what change you want in the future.
